Your subscription enables this effort.
How much do incarcerated people pay to subscribe?
Nothing at all! However, some people in prison’s generosity extends beyond the conditions of their confinement and they choose to donate. Knowing this how far can your generosity go?
How are features selected?
The returning citizen feature column is made up of men and women who’ve inspired SawariMedia’s work, partnered in SawariMedia’s programming or share membership in like-minded advocacy coalition groups. The first feature, Kimberly Woodson, gave us the honor of naming this column “Advice from your Own: Who Made it Home” and the entire first year of Prisonality exclusively featured women who’ve successfully transitioned back into society from prison.
Are there any subscription fees?
We’ve recently launched an outsie subscription model to help support the expansion of mailing and printing more inside subscriptions.
